Programme Fee Policy

1. Overview

Applying to join the KCS Changemaker Community and completing the initial suitability review are free. Students selected for structured one-to-one mentorship and managed project support may choose a paid programme. Field implementation costs are assessed separately and approved in advance.

2. What the Programme Fee Covers

The Programme Support Fee covers mentorship, programme management, field coordination, monitoring and reporting. It does not cover field implementation costs such as materials, equipment, local trainers, travel, venue or beneficiary activities.

3. Programme Fee vs Donation

Programme fees are not donations. They are service fees for structured guidance and management. Programme fee invoices are issued as service invoices, not 80G donation receipts. Donations to KCS Foundation are handled through a separate donation workflow.

4. Currency and Pricing

India residents are charged in INR. Residents outside India are charged in USD. Prices are fixed per region and are not calculated using a live exchange rate. The billing country is the final source of pricing eligibility.

Fees shown exclude applicable taxes and payment-processing or foreign-exchange charges, where legally applicable.

5. Payment Options

• Initial Fit Review: Free
• Design Sprint: Full payment
• Guided Launch: Full payment or two instalments of 50% each
• Impact Builder: Full payment or four quarterly instalments of 25% each
• Legacy Changemaker: Full payment or six quarterly instalments

6. No Pay-to-Win

Certificates and recommendation letters are based on verified participation, contribution, conduct and programme completion. They cannot be purchased. Financial support alone does not qualify as student leadership or community service.
