KCS Foundation India is a registered non-profit organisation founded in 2019 in Madhubani, Bihar, India, by Dr. Pankaj Jha. It empowers rural communities — especially women and girls — through education, digital literacy, STEM labs, skills training, and youth-led social impact programmes across 12+ districts of Bihar. Since its founding, it has impacted over 10,000 students and trained 2,500+ women.
Born from a Simple Belief
Founded in 2019 in the small village of Awari in Madhubani, Bihar, KCS Foundation started with one mission: to prove that geography should never determine destiny.
What began as a small tailoring program for rural women has grown into a comprehensive development organisation — running science labs, coding centres, digital literacy programmes, and a globally recognised youth changemaker initiative.
Today, we work across 12+ districts of Bihar, touching the lives of over 20,000 students and 2,500 women — and we're just getting started.
