KCS Foundation's Global Student Partnership Program

KCS Foundation (KCSF) believes that positive change knows no borders. Students from any country — USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany, Japan, or anywhere on the globe — can partner with us to design and implement real social impact projects in rural Bihar, India. We are not a gap year program or a tourist volunteering experience. We are a serious NGO with a serious track record, and we take student partnerships seriously.

  • Open to students from all countries — no nationality restriction
  • Projects designed collaboratively between student partner and KCS Foundation team
  • Official documentation, certificates and reports provided for all partners
  • Projects range from 6 months to 3 years — scalable to your timeline
  • Partnerships can include fundraising, research, curriculum design or full project ownership

Students from UAE — KCSF Partnerships from the Gulf

Thousands of South Asian families living in the UAE have deep roots in Bihar, India. KCS Foundation offers students in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and across the UAE a unique opportunity to invest in the communities their families came from — or to engage in India's most underserved region as globally minded young leaders. Many UAE-based Indian students are applying to US, UK, Canadian and Australian universities and need strong extracurriculars. A KCS Foundation project is the most powerful option available.

Students from UK — KCSF Partnerships for British High Schoolers

British students applying to Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL and other top UK universities via UCAS increasingly need to demonstrate super-curricular depth. A KCS Foundation NGO project in India — connected to your chosen subject — is exceptional UCAS personal statement material. The UK has a long historical and contemporary connection to India, and demonstrating active, positive engagement with Indian communities shows cultural awareness and global citizenship.

Students from India — KCSF Partnerships for Indian Students Applying Abroad

Indian students applying to US universities (Common App, QuestBridge) or UK universities (UCAS) from cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad can use a KCS Foundation project to demonstrate genuine rural engagement and commitment to India's underserved communities — setting them apart from peers who list only urban-focused activities.
